october wish list

october wish list

I know it's nearing the end of October now but I haven't done a wish list in a while and there are just so many things I want at the moment! Unfortunately I don't actually have the money to buy any of these things so for now I will just add them to my never ending Christmas list...

1. I've had my eye on this Zara blazer for a while now, the cut is really flattering and I love the leather sleeves. I've been looking for a cheaper one but the fake leather can sometimes look so plastic and tacky!

2. As an extremely organised person (some might say borderline OCD), it recently came to my attention that in my evenly spaced apart, colour and size ordered wardrobe there is a huge gap... I don't even own a black jumper, how is that possible?! I am an avid fan of Topshop knitwear and already own the pink version to this jumper. Ooh so warm and comfy <3.

3. Topshop nail varnish in panther. I don't really need to say much other than I am a glitterholic, glitteraholic?! Not even a word but who cares.

4. I've been searching for a tartan scarf for a while now and this Topman, yes Topman one came to my attention when I saw it on Emma's blog. It really is a great way to break up an all black outfit which I find myself wearing a lot of recently!

5. Looove this waist belt from Urban Outfitters.

6. Jeffrey Campbell Litas - I'd say it's a marmite situation, you either love em or hate em! Not everyone's cup of tea, in fact probably not many people's cup of tea  but every time I see someone with them on, (admittedly... mainly bloggers) it makes me want them even more.

7. I genuinely really like this bag, not just because it's a bloody good copy of the Alexander Wang Kirsten satchel, I am just always on a quest to find the perfect black bag. I don't promote replicas in any way, in fact most 'fakes' really get on my nerves but when you don't have the dollar for designer bags then I suppose it's acceptable sometimes, maybe?

the mulberry for me

Ever since I was a kid I've always had expensive taste which is mostly attributable to reading Marie Claire and Vogue since I was about 12 years old. I remember when we used to go on family holidays to Greece and my parents let me buy so many knock off Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags from the markets, letting me think they were real. I still spite them for ever letting me believe they were real but thankfully now at the grand age of 20 I'm able to appreciate the true craftsmanship that goes into making these bags especially the likes of Mulberry.

I think it's most girls dream to own a designer piece at some point in her life and I know mine is definitely going to be a Mulberry bag. I love the whole 'Britishness' around the brand and even though this bag is definitely going to come with a whopping price tag (probably about 2/3 months rent to most people) I am just holding out hope that with it being my 21st birthday next year I can save enough money to buy this beauty...

After my constant scouring on the Mulberry website and coming across this bag on their blog I think it's the one for me. The 'Willow' tote bag from Mulberry's S/S13 collection is due to be released early next year (already spotted on Kate Moss) and will be available in various colours and sizes, featuring a detachable envelope clutch and gold hardware. Definitely going to be a new classic, pretty genius I think.

winter's coming

winter's coming
1. H&M 2. River Island 3. H&M 4. River Island 5. H&M 6. Topshop 7. ASOS 8. Accessorize 9. River Island

Today I finally decided to get my act together and pay some attention to my blog which has been pretty neglected for the past 3 weeks. This wish list was completely inspired by a hat which I spotted on the Zara TRF September lookbook. Annoyingly it hasn't been available to buy which is so frustrating when you want something so much. Why put it in the lookbook and then not have it for sale? Strange, non?

Anyway, since then my want for a burgundy bobble hat has gone a bit crazy and I've been searching everywhere for the perfect one! I love winter accessories so much and I would buy all of these if I could afford to. I especially love when lurex yarns are used to make everything a little bit sparkly!

I've always thought hats looked a bit stupid on me but the burgundy Topshop one on the right is perfect! Unfortunately it's £14 which is way overpriced and it's also out of stock now :(. I definitely want to buy the H&M cable hat in the middle though the chunky knit is perfect!

daily want: louise gray nail polish

Nails in Pinch Punch by Louise Gray for Topshop

Sorry I've been a bit slack on the blogging front recently, I've been mega busy trying to sort out final preparations for Germany. Panicking that I don't have the correct insurance and any money! Student finance have royally mucked up (again) and I don't even have an offer from them yet which is a nightmare as I leave next week!!

But onto all things sparkly, I love this nail polish so much I felt this was worthy of a post. It's part of the Topshop and Louise Gray collaboration and those of you that know me / follow me on Instagram will know I love pretty much anything with glitter - especially when it concerns nail polish. The pink glitter is my favourite but there are a few more sparkly ones in the collection too. It's just such a shame that my nearest Topshop that stocks makeup is at least a train journey away and I don't have time to rush out and buy it. So for now, I will just have to admire through my computer screen.

lavish alice wish list

Lavish Alice wish list
You may or may not have heard of Lavish Alice; those of you in the blogging community definitely will have seen them cropping up all over the place and I felt like I should devote a whole wish list to their new collection as I love everything about it. Skulls, studs, chiffon shirts, embellished jumpers, wet look leggings and collar tips.. nothing quite describes my style more than that. As you may well be aware by now I love studs and skulls so naturally I was drawn to this collection, plus it's all so affordable! I genuinely am gutted that the skull embellished jumper (bottom right) is sold out as I definitely would have bought it if it was still available in my size :(. Hopefully it will be back in stock soon though!

knitwear lust

Knitwear Lust
Topshop, Markus Lupfer, Topshop, Glamorous, Zoe Karssen, Topshop

With the weather being so drab I figured it was only appropriate to put together a little wish list of my favourite knitwear. I love a good jumper paired with leggings and at the moment I'm practically living in my disco pants with different jumpers. I've always been an A/W girl when it comes to fashion and I would much rather layer up in cosy knits and faux fur than having to find outfits for summer. Obviously I much prefer the sun (who doesn't?!), but when it comes to choosing outfits Autumn wins hands down. The jumper on the top right sort of inspired this post as I spied it in Topshop the other day and the studded jumper from Glamorous I've had my eye on for a while, want want want! I also might buy the Topshop number on the bottom right, I've never liked cut out shoulders but for some reason I'm really drawn to this - maybe it's the sparkle!

Enjoy!

stud love

stud love.
blouse; Zara skull and spike necklace; ASOS leopard tshirt; Topshop lipstick; Topshop dip dye jumper; Topshop clutch; Zara boots; Jeffrey Campbell

As you can probably tell from this, I can't get enough of studs at the moment. Throw some leopard print and skulls into the mix and it's a winner! All of these things are on my wish list; no.1 being the Jeffrey Campbell's. I've had my eye on these for a while now but having just moved back from uni and massive overdrafts to pay, unfortunately these babies will have to wait.I absolutely love the ombre effect jumper from Topshop and I know it would go perfectly with my disco pants, similarly to the Zara blouse which I have wanted for sooo long! The skull print tee is pretty affordable at £25 and the necklace is half price in the sale on ASOS so I think it would be rude not to really. The bag and lipstick don't really need much explanation, I just like them.

I guess all I need now is to win the lottery!
